I'm surprised I'm still able to function. I finally went to the doctor today...and the sinus infection I diagnosed myself with was also bronchitis and a respiratory infection. Or something like that. BOO-YA. I think I'm delirious as I type this. I haven't taken a sick day in 3+ years and I'm not about to start now....especially with a 3-day weekend coming up.

Sad story about these earrings. We had our school dance last night and while I was standing outside, one of them fell out of my ear. The turquiose stone popped right out of the little metal thing! Darn it. I'll need to find a way to fix them...I love these earrings!

I was so excited to wear my new threads to work! I had to limit myself and only put on 3 of the 7 new items I purchased. My lovely little photog Lesley came down to take my pics and we did a sitting down photo. It wasn't until I got home and realized you can't really see my outfit. Oh well, she's the greatest anyways! She made sure to get a pic of my boots (Merry Christmas to me) and detail!

speaking of watches...if you read leah's post...and you are an avid BHD reader...you might wonder why I'm always wearing the red sports watch. It's because my life is dictated by staying on time and bells and staying on time is critical to my job, hence the "sporty" digital watch. Purchased at Nike Online, if you must know.

5 minute outfit

Story 1: Right as I walk into work today, one of my coworkers sees me in the hall and goes, "Hey [insert my last name here], you gotta stop dressing up everyday! You're making me feel guilty!" I haven't known this coworker that long, but he is quite the comedian and has a good personality that I can joke with. I'm like "Dude, this is normal! I have to look sharp everyday!"

To which he replies, "You gotta dress for the job you want, not the job you have!"

Love it!!

Story 2: I'm walking down the same hall a little later and another coworker says, "Hey [insert my last name here], you must have gotten a lot of new clothes for Christmas! You're looking cute!" Super nice compliment. Not new clothes. Ha!

Story 3: I seriously pulled this outfit out of my closet in less than 5 minutes. I knew I wanted to wear the dress and threw all the other stuff together. Apparently, it was a successful outfit. So successful in fact, I rushed home to take it off. I ordered some items from Madewell's killer sale, they took over two weeks to get here and finally arrived today. I immediately began trying things on...and then realized I forgot to take my other pics of my outfit. I know you'll forgive me. :-)
