we spent a wonderful weekend

in austin with friends.

my oldest friend danielle had a birthday.

we've known each other since we were 2!

austin is probably one of the best cities in the US.

last night it poured. lightening and thunder. holy geez, it was amazing. We haven't seen rain like that in Texas in many many months.

I can't believe the weekend is already over. How do they go by so quickly?

orange you glad it's the weekend

I hardly ever get dressed up on the weekend...so I felt like changing things up. My husband took me to brunch at one of my favorite places in Amarillo. We sat on the patio, ate and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We live really close to historic route 66, and it has some of the best antique shopping ever. We only went into one store (my favorite one-see below), but there are tons of other shops lining the street. I didn't want to make him suffer too much, so we headed home. Later, I went to go lay out by the pool and then we went to dinner. I am looking forward to cooking out tonight and watching some D-MAV basketball!

half way friday

I am so ready for the weekend! It was the first week of summer school and I've been totally wiped out. As in, like 5 p.m rolls around and I'm ready for bed.

I've also been really into the half tuck thing. It's like I'm halfway put together but halfway not.

And this shirt was on sale at Target for 4.48. Score.
