I bought this skirt last year after seeing this picture in my Elle mag. 

This is my first time to wear it though, and I thought of a different way to style it last night.

Also, I dont care if it is a high of 88 today, I'm wearing my boots.

Not really. But, I was so exhausted last night I completely forget to do my post. I am counting down the hours until the weekend fun starts!

Has anyone ever heard of the show $%!@ My Dad Says? Okay, I've never seen it before, but I've heard about it. I should have a show and call it more appropriately "Stuff my students say..." Below are a few comments of the day on my outfit:

(circa 7:45 am) "Oh girl! Snap! You look you from the 70's!"

(circa 11:20) "Miss! You look like a Barbie Doll! I love Barbie dolls!"

(circa 2 pm) "Hey....miss...you look like old school today."

We just aren't used to the weather this cold. Even hardcore East Coast style bloggers are blogging about the insanity of the cold weather. It must be my combination of the onset of a sinus infection and the cold weather that is clouding my mind...but I made a bad choice today.

I was freezing cold in the outfit I wore all day. My heater in my classroom only comes on sporadically. I should have worn boots, not moccasins. WHAT was I thinking?!

I told my husband what we were doing today here on BHD. He says, "Cords? Like Corduroy?"

Um...yes honey, like corduroy. Rhymes with borderoy.

I was super exhausted and we had errands to do around town...so I threw something together and was out the door as a hot mess. Here is my take:

I'm our 100th post! Writing this blog has been such a fun outlet for me...and I am excited about all the new things BHD has coming up. Like Jenn said below, make sure and follow us if you are a reader! And, if you are a big blog reader, she told me about bloglovin.com, which has been a huge time saver...especially if you follow cooking blogs...style blogs...education blogs...organization blogs...it can become kind of a problem.
